Signs Your Vessel Is a
Candidate for an Uplift
You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from an assessment. These are the conditions that reliably indicate an uplift is worth having.
Your control system is more than 10–15 years old and predates the crew operating it
You're experiencing recurring faults, alarms, or unreliable sensor data that can't be fully resolved
Spare parts for existing hardware are difficult, expensive, or no longer manufactured
Your system lacks modern diagnostics, data logging, or remote monitoring capability
You're facing compliance pressure from MARINA, class societies, port state control, or internal safety audits from your ship management company
Your crew finds the current system difficult to operate or troubleshoot under normal conditions
If more than two of these apply, an uplift assessment is likely worth having. The assessment is free and carries no commitment — we'll tell you honestly what we see and what we recommend, including if no immediate action is needed.
What the Uplift
Process Looks Like
Five structured phases, no surprises. We stay involved from first assessment through post-handover support.
We conduct a thorough evaluation of your existing control system — hardware, software, cabling, integration points, and documentation. We identify what can be retained, what needs replacement, and what can be enhanced. Where possible, this is conducted during a port call or drydock to minimize disruption.
We present a clear, costed proposal: exactly what work will be done, what components will be upgraded, what the expected performance outcomes are, and what the timeline looks like. No surprises. Nothing hidden.
Our team designs the upgrade solution, programs the new PLC/HMI configuration (primarily Allen-Bradley / Rockwell platforms), and fabricates any required panels or components in-house. Every element is engineered for your vessel's specific configuration.
We install and commission the upgraded system on board, coordinating with your vessel schedule to minimize operational disruption. Testing is conducted under real operating conditions before sign-off — not just bench testing.
Full documentation and crew familiarization are included in every uplift. We remain available for post-commissioning support, and for vessels operating regularly in Philippine waters, we can offer scheduled maintenance as part of the ongoing arrangement.
Systems We
Regularly Uplift
We work across all major control system types on commercial vessels, including legacy platforms with limited or missing documentation.

- Engineering, fabrication, installation, and commissioning are all handled in-house
- Every uplift includes full documentation and crew familiarization
- We don't hand off to subcontractors and disappear after sign-off
- Significantly improved system reliability and reduced unplanned downtime
- Modern diagnostics and data logging capability your crew can actually use
- A stronger compliance posture with class societies and port state control
- Spare parts availability on current, supported hardware platforms
- An engineering partner who knows your system's history going forward
