What We Repair
Our focus is the legacy marine control systems that have been on vessels for decades — relay-based panels, analog instrumentation, electromechanical protection systems, and older alarm systems. If it controls something on your vessel and it's stopped working, we want to look at it.
We Repair What Others Say Can't Be Fixed — Without Automatically Replacing It
Most vessels in commercial operation are running control systems that predate modern PLC and HMI technology. These systems — relay logic panels, analog instrumentation, older alarm and monitoring equipment — are often well-built, still fit for purpose, and don't need to be replaced. They need someone who understands them well enough to repair them. That's what we do. We work from first principles: physically tracing the installation, understanding the control logic as-built, identifying the fault, and restoring function. Where drawings don't exist, we produce them. Where components need fabrication, we fabricate them.
Our Repair Process
From first contact through to sign-off, here's exactly what working with us looks like.
We assess the fault remotely where possible — often we can identify the issue and advise on interim workarounds before a technician sets foot on the vessel. Where an on-board visit is required, we coordinate with your schedule and vessel location to dispatch quickly.
We tell you what's wrong, what it will take to fix it, and what it will cost — before any work begins. If the repair isn't viable or a different solution makes more sense, we'll say so directly.
We carry a range of commonly needed components and have sourcing channels for older and discontinued marine control parts. Where components need to be specially sourced or fabricated, we advise on realistic timelines upfront.
All repairs are tested thoroughly before handover — under actual operating conditions where possible. We don't sign off until the system is functioning correctly and your crew is satisfied.
We provide a written record of the fault, the repair carried out, components replaced, and any recommendations for preventing recurrence or planning future maintenance.
Contact Us Now — The Sooner We Know, The Sooner We Can Help
Tell us what the system is doing, what's been tried, and where the vessel is. The sooner we understand the situation, the sooner we can help — often we can give useful guidance before anyone boards.
